Indigenous Implementation Board
The purpose of the Board is to build stakeholder involvement, ensure that recommendations from earlier reports have been implemented where appropriate, consider the structural underpinnings of Indigenous disadvantage and recommend ways in which service delivery can be enhanced. Find out more.
WAAAC
Indigenous Affairs Minister Dr Kim Hames has announced the 12-strong membership of the Western Australian Aboriginal Advisory Council, who will provide independent guidance and advice to the State Government on Indigenous aspirations and priority issues. Find out more.
Bilateral Agreement on Indigenous Affairs
The Bilateral Agreement on Indigenous Affairs was signed by the State of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. The Agreement establishes an agreed framework and priorities for intergovernmental cooperation and enhanced effort in Indigenous affairs. Find out more.

Find Your Mob
The Aboriginal History Research Unit (AHRU) works in partnership with the community and other government agencies to assist Aboriginal people identify their family ties and cultural links to the land. Find out more.
WAIFS
The WA Indicator Frameworks Systems ( WAIFS ) is a DIA initiative to improve accessibility to and assist with reporting of measured outcomes for State Government frameworks. Government agencies wanting to add their frameworks to the system can email DIA.
Lead Agency Framework
The Premier has announced a new lead agency framework to improve coordination and efficiency of approvals processes across Government. The new lead agency framework will work by determining specific government departments as the first point of call for a project. The relevant department will then help the proponent through the approvals process throughout agencies.
