Reconciliation Action Plan

The Minister for Indigenous Affairs launched the Department of Indigenous Affairs' (DIA) Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) on Thursday 31 January 2008.

The DIA's RAP is a living document and has been developed through extensive consultation with staff, both regional and Perth based. This RAP has a timeframe of two years, 2008 - 2010 and DIA will review the RAP annually and develop subsequent plans.

This RAP identifies the steps DIA will take to achieve improved economic and social outcome for Indigenous Western Australians. DIA is committed to the effective implementation of the RAP, with the achievement of the outcomes as the measure of our success.

DIA's RAP, is here.  A progress report on the RAP is here.
