Aboriginal Communities Essential Services Steering Committee ( ACESSC )

Note that the current contractor, Parsons Brinckerhoff of Perth, provides the secretariat and quarterly RAESP reports for ACESSC. Three regional sub-contractors provides services to Indigenous communities under RAESP. The sub-contractor, Nyaarla Projects, oversees education and training.

This group provides advice on the long-term equitable and adequate service delivery arrangements for power, water and sewerage disposal to remote communities. It oversees the Remote Area Essential Services Program (RAESP) contract, which is managed by the Department of Housing and Works. The Department of Education and Training and the Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations provide further oversight on the education and training aspects of the RAESP contract, particularly for Essential Service Operators (ESOs) in the communities.
