Notable sites in Western Australia

There are about 27,000 Aboriginal heritage sites that are registered in the Register of Aboriginal Sites. They can be small, or scattered over a big surface. Most of them are not known to the general public.

The most notable Aboriginal sites of Western Australia are the Burrup Peninsula, the Swan Brewery site and Rottnest Island.
