Progress Reports Tabled

Progress Update June 2003 (pdf = 636 kb)

Reporting Process

The Response required that:
"... agencies will report on the progress of strategies and initiatives to address recommendations within the Gordon Inquiry's Report, bi-annually over the next 18-24 months."

Prior to the Reporting date each agency having Lead Agency status, reports on the progress of each initiative to the Secretariat. Each report addresses several aspects including achievements, resource usage, contribution to joined-up Government and engagement with the Indigenous community. (This process is soon to be supported by the web-based reporting database.) The Secretariat then collates the report information and compiles a summary report in consultation with the Directors General for submission to Cabinet.

Future Dates for Reporting to Cabinet

The next Progress Update report is due December 2003 and is due every six months thereafter.
