Shaping a nation: Visionary leadership in a time of fear and uncertainty: One of Australia's most highly regarded Indigenous rights advocates, Professor Larissa Behrendt is this year's speaker for the John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library (JCPML) Anniversary Lecture is to be held on Thursday 5 July, 3.45pm for 4.00pm start followed by refreshments from 5.00pm in the John Curtin Gallery's Sir Laurence Brodie-Hall Atrium (Building 200), Curtin Bentley Campus.The JCPML Anniversary Lecture is held each year on July 5th - the anniversary of the death of John Curtin, Australia's wartime Prime Minister. The Hon Gough Whitlam, Foundation Patron of the JCPML will be present again this year. All welcome. National Indigenous Television: This exciting new television service will be launched on Friday, 13 July 2007. NITV is open for business and calling for all program submissions and ideas. There is an opportunity for your programs and ideas to be on a national service for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. St Kilda Film Festival: St Kilda Film Festival National Tour 2007 is having opening night in Perth on Sunday, 1 July at 5.30pm at the Luna Cinema.
